Agent Orange

On the subject of Agent Orange, no one knows more about it than our
"Shipmates Advocate" Peter Ablanczy.  Peter has made an indepth
study of the Ponchatoula's 1966-67 cruise and has been able to prove
the ship was in Vietnamese waters.  Peter has maps, photos and actual
copies of the Ponchatoula's deck logs that all establish the fact that the
ship was there.  If this information would be helpful, you should
contact Peter directly using our membership rooster.

The following link will take you to the website of the US Department
of Veterans Affairs
that has a list of ships that are recognized by the
Veterans Administration with "presumption of exposure" status.
This is for purpose of service connected diseases associated with exposure
to Agent Orange herbicide agents to those Vietnam Veterans who
served aboard them on the specific dates listed.
